Hello! I am excited to be in my third year of teaching PreK to 4th grade music at Concordia. This year I also have the opportunity to direct our 5th-8th Grade Chimes and Handbells Groups.  After attending Concordia University, Ann Arbor, my first call in 1998 was to Concordia Lutheran High School where I taught choirs and religion. I left CLHS when my husband Steven and I began our family. During the next many years, God grew our family to four children, and I taught part time. I taught middle school choirs at CLS, began a private voice and piano studio in my home, and taught K-8 music at St. John-Emmanuel, Monroeville.

This summer at Anderson University, I completed my certification in Orff-Schulwerk, a music methodology that emphasizes natural speech, singing, playing, and moving! I am thrilled to share the love of Jesus, and the love of music, with each student in my classes.
