Kindergarteners Take Off with Space Study
Concordia Kindergarten students wrapped up their study of space by cooperatively building their own space ship. Using found materials, students constructed, painted, decorated and named their craft.
Overhearing the conversations during the project was priceless as they described was each added part was going to help their space ship accomplish.
Concordia Kindergarten teachers Susan Frincke, Shelle Davis and Rebecca Boyd all encourage creative problem solving as an important skill for young learners.
